Amazing sunset over National Park

We spent the weekend at Waiora Lodge cutting firewood in preperation for winter. It was still lovely and warm but low humidity so it was comfortable sleeping. On the Saturday we witnessed the most spectacular sunset. That's one of the things I love about the mountain is the amazing cloud formations which often occur. When the sun is setting and hits Mt Ruapehu it is also a magnificent site to see.
